
Gaga met performance artist Lady Starlight during this time and, following a performance at Lollapalooza Festival in 2007 Gaga was signed by Vince Herbert to Streamline Records which is an imprint from Interscope Records. Gaga was an apprentice songwriter during her time with Famous Music Publishing. This company was later acquired and renamed Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The result was that she was hired to write music for Britney Spears and her labelmates New Kids on the Block, Fergie, and the Pussycat Dolls.
